Islamabad —UNS:Pakistan has achieved another milestone in parliamentary diplomacy as Ms. Misbah Khar, Advisor to the Chairman Senate, has been appointed Ambassador of the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC). The appointment comes shortly after Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani was named the founding President of the ISC, placing Pakistan at the forefront of this emerging global platform.

As Ambassador, Ms. Khar will play a central role in advancing the ISC’s outreach and engagement. She has represented Pakistan and the Senate at various international forums and has also contributed as a published writer in respected international newspapers, including The Washington Times. Her appointment reflects her growing influence in parliamentary diplomacy and acknowledges her contributions to projecting Pakistan’s voice on global stages.
