Bhandara lauds role of minorities in development,progress of country

RAWALPINDI -UNS:Member National Assembly, Isphanyar Bhandara lauded the role of minorities in development and progress of the country.♦

He was talking to a diverse delegation of minority from the Hazara region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa called on him on Tuesday,in Rawalpindi.

The delegation included Pandit Darshan Lal and Sham Lal from the historic Shiva Temple in Mansehra, Sikh community representative Uttam Singh, and Pastor Ishaq and Aakash from the Hazara Prayer Group Church.

The delegation apprised Mr. Bhandara of the challenges facing minorities in Hazara, a region often viewed as progressive and a PML-N stronghold amid a rapidly shifting political landscape in KPK. He lauded the role of minorities in development and progress of the country.

Mr Bhandara deeply appreciated the interfaith spirit of the visit and the powerful symbolism it carried, assuring the group of his full support in addressing their concerns.

The meeting concluded with a heartfelt prayer for peace, protection, and dignity for all minority communities of Pakistan.
