ISLAMABAD – UNS: Margalla Road, under the supervision of the CDA (Capital Development Authority), began to fall only after a few monsoon rains.
The road passes towards the Margalla Road to Bar Imam, adjacent to the Kohsar Complex, but recent rains have changed the road shape..
According to details the rainwater drained several parts of the road, which not only affected traffic flow but also raised serious questions on the Poor performance, corruption of the CDA.
According to the sources, the construction material used in the construction of the road was of extremely poor quality, which caused the road to lose its foundation in the first rains.
A preliminary report by the Islamabad district administration revealed that the project caused the situation due to corruption,mis-management and poor supervision.
It is to be remembered that last week, the Islamabad High Court also took strict notice of the CDA’s overall performance and issued an order to dissolve the company, while the CDO was also dismissed.
Residents of the federal capital are now justified in asking: “Is it justice for national resources to be wasted like this?”
“Will the accountability be limited only to the extent of the files?”
Now it is to be seen what practical steps are taken against the alleged corruption and poor performance in the CDA, or the matter will be suppressed in time like other matters.
