Islamabad-UNS:Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan visited the FPCCI Capital Office. On this occasion, Federation President Atif Ikram Sheikh, Vice President Tariq Jadun, Chairman Capital Office Kareem Aziz Malik, Chairman Coordination Malik Sohail, Rashid Humayun, Convener FPCCI Central Standing Committee , and others welcomed him. In his address, Syedal Khan Nasir stated that the business class plays a crucial role in the country’s development and job creation. He emphasized the need to move beyond mere transactional relationships between the public and private sectors. “We need a new social contract that guarantees transparency, security, and ease of doing business, and the business community commits itself to fair taxation, compliance with rules, provision of employment opportunities, and inclusive development,” he said.
He further added, “It is a great honor and privilege for me to address this esteemed gathering of Pakistan’s most dynamic business minds and economic leaders.” He paid tribute to the business community for its tireless services to the national economy, stating that the FPCCI has long served as a bridge between government policy and economic potential.
The role of the business community is vital in the country’s development and provision of employment opportunities, and across the nation, the business community expands industry and advances innovation for economic acceleration. The Deputy Chairman Senate said, “As Deputy Chairman Senate of Pakistan, I assure you that the Upper House is committed to economic reforms, legislative stability, and inclusive development. Our committees, particularly those related to commerce, finance, industry and production, and planning, are actively consulting with stakeholders to remove regulatory hurdles, ensure policy consistency, and strengthen Pakistan’s competitiveness in regional and global markets.
