Russian language education launched in Lahore

LAHORE-UNS: -Russian language education has been launched in the provincial capital. under the auspices of the Russian Center for Science, Education, and Culture, An inaugural ceremony was held at the Center, presided over by the Chairman of the Center and Ambassador for Russian Science and Education, Dr. Shahid Hasan.

In his keynote address, Dr. Shahid Hasan stated that through the Russian Center for Science, Education, and Culture, not only will Russian language instruction be provided, but facilities and guidance will also be offered to Pakistani students seeking higher education in Russian institutions. In this regard, facilities for admissions to universities in Kyrgyzstan have also been initiated. He added that scholarships will be awarded to talented students.

The Co-Chairman of the Center, Professor Dr. Ashraf Nizami, gave a detailed overview of the various courses and mentioned that the certificates issued upon course completion will be recognized by both Russian and Pakistani universities.

The Russian-origin language instructor, Ms. Natasha Natalia, stated that along with learning the Russian language, students will also gain insight into Russian literature and culture.
