ISLAMABAD : Renowned Baloch Trible Chief,social and political activist Sardar Saeed Ahmad Jan Lango has said that presence of China in our region is vital for Baluchistan,Pakistan and for the region as a whole.During a interview with World Tribune Special correspondent on Sardar Saeed Ahmed Jan expressed his great concern over increase of terrorist activities in Baluchistan and showed his eagerness for restoration of development activities on CPEC project.
Responding to a question about his recent visit to China about Chinese future development prospects in Baluchistan viz a viz Pakistan, he said that ‘i am very great full to his Chinese friends for their hospitality and warmth behavior as whole’. He observed that some people say that’ “China is friend of Pakistan, this is not right, Chaina is not friend of Pakistan, But China is our four seasons friend and an Iron Brother”. During his visit he saw great development in China. Their economic growth and prosperity were mind blowing and stunning. He expressed to get benefits from the Chinese experience for the development of Baluchistan region and Pakistan in particular.
While answering the question about what would be the current priority of Baluchistan for its future development, he said that in his opinion the economic development would be the key factor in development of Baluchistan. He said this is our priority number 1, because we don’t have any Mega Development Projects in the past for Baluchistan, but now we can say it proudly that we have ÇEPEC projects as a great hope for which we are extremely great full to our iron friend PRC. This will be Game Changer for Baluchistan and Pakistan also for the PRC. It will play a vital role in the socioeconomic development of Pakistan and Baluchistan.
To another question about Saindak & Hub Power project and their effects on socioeconomic conditions in Baluchistan, he said that no doubt these are very beneficial and prosper projects playing key role in Baluchistan’s socioeconomic condition but since we are suffering from economic disaster, unemployment, poverty, bad environment conditions. We need more and more help in development to improve our economic condition, education and more opportunities for the employment of our youth. For this we are expecting a lot from our iron friend PRC.
In answer to a question regarding safety and protection against terrorist activities and threats to life and properties of foreign investors and workers in Baluchistan, he reiterated his assurance that all Tribal Chief welcome foreign investment like Canada and China to work in this region without any fear. Every foreign investor and citizen are welcome to our soil. To encourage foreign investment, we need very peaceful atmosphere in our region. For this we will stand shoulder to shoulder with our foreign investors specially with our Chinese friends who always stand with us in our difficult times, We give you our trust andsurety to provide our full moral support. Every Trible leader and chief will give it’s full assurance to protect all foreign workers and citizens working in our soil.
In an another question that do the Tribal Chief condemn all terrorist activities, extremism and attacks being carried out on foreign citizens? He said explained that the terrorism and extremism in Baluchistan is being done through foreign agenda.All kind of terrorism in Pakistan is being imported from outside Pakistan. Global powers are backing these terrorist group through financial and technical support. Their handlers and facilitators are sitting outside Pakistan with the nefarious designs against Chinese citizen working in the country.
Unfortunately, most of such terrorist activities which took place against Chinese, young and unemployed youth of Baluchistan became tool in their hands because of non-existence of any positive opportunity and lack of development. Such members of the youth have been brainwashed and are playing in the hands of these forces as puppets. We on behalf of people of Baluchistan and on behalf of all tribal chiefs give surety, trust and confidence to our all foreign investors, specially to our Chinese friends that we condemn all kind of terrorism in the region and activities of these terrorist groups from core of our hearts. We give our strong and valued assurance to our Chinese friends that we will stand shoulder to shoulder with them against this menace of terrorism. At last not the least, I would like to say “Long Live Pak Chaina friendship”
