Traders demands opening of Pak-Afghan borders

Peshawar -UNS:The Central President of All Pakistan Markets, Malik Soni, has said that thousands of people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have become unemployed due to the closure of Pak-Afghan borders, while the government is losing billions of rupees in taxes every day.

He demanded that the government immediately open all the borders for trade so that the business community and the public can get relief.
Addressing a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club, Malik Soni said that due to the closure of Pak-Afghan bilateral trade for the past one month, vehicles full of vegetables, fruits and other agricultural products have been standing damaged at the border, which has caused a loss of billions of rupees to importers, exporters and traders.
Malik Soni said that we recognize the role of the Pakistan Army and stand by its side, but due to the closure of the borders, the hearths of thousands of families have gone cold.
He said that despite the lack of political relations in many countries of the world, trade routes remain open, so Pakistan should also maintain trade relations with Afghanistan.
