ISLAMABAD :In America, Zohran Mamdani becoming the first Muslim mayor of New York seems to a historic democratic success, but if it is seen in the context of global political reality and Zionist colonial psychology, it is not just a public victory.
The structure—its electoral institutions, media networks, capitalist donors, and intellectual think tanks—are all influenced to one degree or another by forces that present themselves as defenders of freedom and democracy, but in fact control public consciousness through capital, power, and global networks.
In this background, the victory of Zehran Mamdani can be seen as an example of “dark psychology” i.e. the psychological game of power.
The basic tenet of dark psychology is that powerful systems do not directly oppress people, but create an artificial sense of freedom and autonomy within them.
So that they keep thinking that they are making their own decisions, while in reality their consciousness is being formed within the framework set by this system.
The Zionist lobby, which has influenced American politics, economy, media and legislation for decades, is based on the same principle.
She has the ability to control resistance or dissent rather than suppress it. Its method is that it brings forward certain individuals or movements. Those who seem to be against it, but actually by their existence, a “psychological relief valve” opens in the system.
Mamdani’s election appears to be a psychological experiment on the principle of “controlled opposition”. If a Muslim, South Asian origin, pro-Palestinian person is elected in the heart of a world power like New York, it is not just a coincidence but a symbolic psychological move.
This is a choice that is designed to make the public believe that the system is changing, when in fact the same old power structures remain in place. This strategy can be called the “Illusion of Change”, that is, to create the impression of change, while the centers of power remain unchanged.
The election came at a time when Palestine and the resistance bloc around the world have increased pressure on Israel and its global support networks.
Public sympathy is turning towards the Palestinians and the policies of Western colonialism are being questioned. In this situation, it was not possible for the Zionist mindset to maintain direct pro-Israelism. So…he has adopted a new strategy:
Faces should be brought forward who are ostensibly against the system of oppression, but in practice provide “moral justification” for its continuation from within the same system. Mamdani’s choice is actually the psychological face of this strategy.
They are manifestations of this “controlled empathy” by which the people are assured that their voices are being heard, so that the spirit of genuine resistance is transformed into an emotional satisfaction. The Zionist mentality knows very well the subtleties of human psychology.
She believes that the younger generation is influenced by the narrative of victimhood, equality and justice. Therefore, if a Muslim leader is brought before them who talks about the same principles, but absorbs his revolutionary force into the state system, then the seed of resistance is automatically weakened.
This strategy is called Neutralization by Integration, that is, instead of eliminating the ideology, it is integrated into institutions so that it loses its revolutionary power. According to Mamdani, if pro-Palestinian and anti-establishment sentiments are assimilated into the state framework, the sharp edges of public consciousness become dull and the spirit of change dissolves within the walls of the establishment.
This process is actually a psychological investment of the Zionist powers. They know that there is a moral climate against them at the global level, so now they want to put on a new moral mantle by involving the representatives of the oppressed in their system. This is part of America’s “Moral Rehabilitation Project”.
That is, to show the world that America is just and diverse, even though its global decisions are still in the hands of the same ancient imperial networks.
