Tarbela Ghazi -By Correspondent:Senior journalist and owner of Taabeer News Agency, Mazhar Ali Khan Tahirkheli , was laid to rest amid tears, in the presence of thousands of mourners.
Mazhar Ali Khan Tahirkheli , yesterday, passed away following a heart attack. His funeral prayer saw attendance from notable figures, including former MNA Babar Nawaz Khan (PML-N), former MPA Faisal Zaman, former candidate for Tehsil Chairman Ghazi, Khayam Islam, former district council member of Haripur, Saeed Khan, Syed Akhtar Hussain Shah, Mian Muhammad Jamil, and a large number of local journalists. A large number of people from various walks of life and surrounding areas also participated.
The late Mazhar Ali Khan Tahirkheli had been suffering from a heart condition. He had recently returned home after receiving treatment at the hospital. Unfortunately, last night, he also suffered a stroke, which led to his passing.
Mazhar Ali Khan Tahirkheli had a long and distinguished career in journalism, including his association with Daily Ausaf Islamabad. He was younger brother of renowned journalist late Sadaqat Ali Khan Tahir kheli, the founding president of the Tarbela Union of Journalist. Mazhar Ali Khan was uncle of Ghazanfar Ali, Jami Khan, and Sadaat Qadir. Following the funeral prayer, he was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard, with tearful family, friends, and colleagues bidding him a sorrowful farewell.
