Saudi Parliamentary Delegation Arrives in Islamabad for Speakers Conference

ISLAMABAD-:A high-level parliamentary delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia arrived in Islamabad today to participate in the International Speakers Conference, scheduled to be held from November 11 to 12, 2025.

The delegation was accorded a warm welcome by Senator Nadeem Ahmed Bhutto, while senior officers of the Senate Secretariat were also present on the occasion.

The Saudi delegation is being led by Abdullah bin Adham Falatah, Vice Chairman of the Saudi Shura Council. The delegation also includes Dr. Usman Hakamani, Abdullah Atlas, and Dr. Moin Al-Madani, all esteemed members of the Shura Council.

The International Speakers Conference aims to promote global peace, strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation, and enhance diplomatic ties among participating nations. The forum will serve as a vital platform for constructive dialogue, mutual understanding, and collaboration between legislative bodies across the world.

Earlier, Acting President Yousaf Raza Gilani extended an invitation to the Speaker of the Russian Parliament to attend the conference, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to fostering inclusive international parliamentary engagement.

The conference in Islamabad is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing parliamentary diplomacy, while further consolidating relations between Pakistan and participating countries, particularly the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in pursuit of shared goals of peace, stability, and cooperation.
