ISLAMABAD -UNS: Colonel (Retd) Muhammad Azam Qadri, Senior Vice Chairman of the International Harmony Council, sister organization of INSPAD, Senior Member of the Core Committee of INSPAD Institute of Peace and Development and a distinguished scholar and historian of several authoritative books on military history, has passed away.
The deceased was a very noble, patriotic and distinguished writer and historian, who had a deep attachment and profound understanding of Pakistan.
In his entire military professional life and academic research and writing, he dedicated his life to South Asia, especially the relations between Pakistan and India, the struggle for the freedom of Kashmir and the promotion of military history and struggle.
Since the establishment of the International Harmony Council, he has been active in the diplomacy of peace, religious harmony and interfaith dialogue in the United States, Britain, Europe and the Middle East and in interfaith activities and played a full role at the global level. And he has also received many awards and honors.
He was awarded several military and national awards in recognition of his versatile service to his country, including the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Ambassador of Peace and Harmony from INSPAD.
INSPAD, President Dr. Muhammad Tahir Tabassum, Senior Vice President Sardar Abdul Waheed, Secretary General Mrs Kishwar Aqeel and UK based Chairman of the International Harmony Council Dr. Khurshid Ahmed Chaudhry and the entire team have paid great tribute to him for his military national, scientific research services and prayed that Allah Almighty will grant him a high position in Paradise.Ameen.
INSPAD president paid tribute to him and said that Colonel Azam Qadri will always live in our hearts and memories.
