RAWALPINDI -UNS: Ms. Ina Lepel, Ambassador of Federal Republic of Germany called on Muhammad Raza Hayat Harraj, Federal Minister for Defence Production at Rawalpindi today on Monday. Federal Minister welcomed the dignitary in his office. They exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and enhancing cooperation in defence production.
Federal Minister said that relations between Pakistan and Germany spanning over decades grounded in mutual respect, trust and constructive engagement.
Raza Hayat Harraj also expressed that there is a great potential for further extending defence cooperation between the two countries.
Federal Minister for Defence Production also extended invitation to the dignitary for IDEAS-2026 will be held at Karachi in Nov/Dec 2026.
Ms. Ina Lapel said that as ambassador in Pakistan, this is her third tenure. She served between 2006 to 2009 and later 2015 to 2017. She said “she is delighted to serve in Pakistan for the third time in her career”.
